They play football in a different way, as eye-opening as the Barcelona that dominated for many years. With that said, Villa score, but doubt it'll save them.

It bears no comparison with what they have now and if their future expansions are done with the intentions of broadening public access and interest in their collection I'd back them in these projects.

The Towner do have responsibilities of course, though what they have done for the cause of local art is to be applauded. I remember the days of their paintings being stored in the leaky roof of the old manor house in Old Town.

I think the issues of land use we have today were not a 'thing' back in the early part of the last century, he was a recorder rather than a propagandist, very hard to see him living in our time.

Yes, I think he would be rather surprised that people were interested in enjoying his work at all, some 90 odd years after he created them.

Went to see Emma Stibbon's exhibition at the Towner yesterday, extremely well put together exhibition and they've made it free all summer rather than £12.50 so there was a nice mix of families along with the usual (lack of) crowd. Recommended.
