Amazing work, really really conveys the beauty of an underwater setting, along with a bit of mystery in the deeper colors beyond. So great :3

Stay strong, you gave them a good life, love and a home that was warm. Hold the memories of that love close, and you will be okay, not healed, but... hey can't rush it. I genuinely wish the best for you and yours.

Not a bad idea at all, you can go about that so many ways tbh. Really great idea :) I'd say you should act on that, sounds like a fun type of monster. Each different form could have different weaknesses or strengths hinted at during the dungeon its present within, the mind buzzes with ideas!
