They're really trying to compete with being goofier than the Van Damme Street Fighter movie.

I do the same thing and he's in a lot of commercials so it happens a lot.

I had some spindrift at my cousin's house and thought I have to get some of this at home. I looked it up and remembered how cheap I am.

Also interesting in the article was the ACT therapy that some respond to with countering procrastination.

I'm jealous of the schedule you have to lose control of.

I feel like the Charmed reboot tackled this too.

I was trying to look for a sample to gauge age range. Our 8-year old is focused a lot on chapter books with mainly text and I was wondering if this will still grab his attention. I'm trying to be careful about it because he's very focused on getting older. That's its own struggle!

It's depressing seeing everything gravitate towards "AI". I do run of the mill business software and the only new tools and improvements I've gotten are those at the periphery of the AI buzz.

I've also learned to recognize when I'm in a place or with people that are not for beginners and I am. I try to get as much as I can and find places to contribute, but bring some of my beginner questions to someone else in a different setting. Or do some independent learning if not available.

Yeah, I didn't realize this and saw the cutest smaller pressure cooker in my Pakistani friend's kitchen when I was over there and he was making us some dinner. I remember old school pressure cooker horror stories growing up.

It's very similar to other congees, just with tons of ginger and patis (filipino fish sauce, but I'll use any fish sauce if I'm out of patis, again, don't tell my aunt). My aunt's arroz caldo is definitely better than the instant pot version, but I can go do anything else I want while it's cooking.

Filipinos have a porridge like this called arroz caldo that I make in the instant pot. I just don't tell my aunt who would have maximum shaking her head at me in disappointment for not making it on the stove for hours.

Yeah, my Cali cousins introduced me to it (I'm in Atlanta). It's an orange pink dressing sauce thing and some other stuff put on the burger and/or fries. I tried it and it was ok, but I'll stick to the classic.
