Encountering the most Homer Simpsonesque donuts I've seen in an age while getting a drink in the S-Bahn station.
Donuts on display. The left donuts have pink icing with pastel blue, yellow, pink, and white sprinkles. The donuts on the right have white icing with chocolate chunks for sprinkles. A sign says Donut Kakao-haltige Fettglasur, Stuck. The price listed is 1.99€

Encountered some deeply haunted objects today
A piece of wooden flooring in a case. There is a small plaque on the wood that says "Weikert Farm Floor, Civil War Hospital, Gettysburg Battlefield, 1863". The floor is stained with old bloodstains all across it ans there are two small holes in it. There is a portion of a world war one helmet on a Styrofoam head slightly on front of the display. The Weikert family's buildings were indeed used during the American Civil War. At least six men died right in the family's parlor, and severed body parts from emergency amputations were piled outside of the windows. Later, the family's missing rug was found to have been used to line a mass burial pit for dead soldiers. A wooden case with some divided compartments. There is a large metal syringe, two glass cups with valves on their ends, two ends of nozzles, another glass cup and a small metal box visible. The box is lined in dirty brown fabric. A card reads "Physician's Cased Bleeding Set 19th Century N-16 $750". A small label in the box reads "CHAS.LENTZ & SONS 18th N. 11th Street Philadelphia" An assortment of small items and their labels - handcarved Civil War bone dice, authentic Native American arrowheads, Bakelite (an early type of plastic) dice, Civil War lead bullets recovered in VA and PA (Virginia and Pennsylvania), mostly .58 calibre. There are several of each item, from six sided bone dice to stone arrowheads to ceramic coloured vintage bullets. There is also a small red vintage lead model seesaw and small blue vintage lead bench. A vintage gas mask - rubber, with clear but now dirty eye holes and straps that go around the head. The mask says Large Adult and there is a canister attached to the mouth portion, like a feedbag. There are written instructions on the use of the mask on the canister. A tag reads "New old stock gas mask! U-16 $45 each". There are two vintage clear glass bottles and a slice of coloured stone (blues, browns, grays) on the shelf with the mask.

I have decided to become complicit in soup crimes.

Went through the five stages of grief making these but now I know how to do them for next time.
Several necklace pendants shaped like closed mason jars. Inside each jar are various pride colors. Three are non-binary colors: yellow, white, purple, black. Three are asexual colors: black, gray, white, purple. Two are trans colors: blue, pink, and white. All of the pieces are still on resin tape on top of a white plate.
