There was zero notice that he was going to do this today. I see so many dogs come through my work’s ER for rat poisoning and other kinds of issues related to this, so I’m very grateful that I was allowed to leave work early to come home and check on my dog.

This was discovered through both TikTok that they offer this service as well as my provider so I’m feeling confident that I can start my medical transition here. I seriously cannot wait to get this going. It may not be by my birthday like I wanted but it’ll definitely be before November (4/5)

The two places my provider recommended are just not going to be viable for me at least right now. I think once I have a car situation figured out and am able to travel aside from public transport, I’m going through Planned Parenthood which is thankfully less than 10 minutes from me. (3/5)

Using these posts as kind of a journal of sorts to mark all of the steps I’ve been taking through my journey. I’m rather excited to look back and see where I’ve started from.
That being said I officially have an appointment for Hormone Therapy in 10 days and I couldn’t be more excited 😊 (2/5)

I also set up an appointment with Planned Parenthood in about 2 and a half weeks as well for telehealth to start the Hormone Treatment conversation and maybe get started with them and then continue on over with one of the referred programs. We shall see what happens. Excited but still very nervous

I gotta be honest I was expecting there to be a wait but I was not expecting it to be about 6 months. I reached out to my provider to see if she’s comfy starting the process with her with the expectation that I would continue with one of the programs once I can get in.
