I described it as Cyberspace Noir to a friend of mine. I think that adding "space" to the "cyber" is extra fitting when different online spaces are being used as locations/environments.

Cyberpunk is also really the only genre where I've read about a competent character letting the reader join their skill sphere, and explaining just enough context that the reader understands that the character could have been their teacher, were they not already busy using their skills for the plot.

As a GM, getting a feel for Blades in the Dark was revelatory.
The players' dice do almost ALL the work that CR/AC/HP/DC does in 5e, and players have more freedom to improvise cool moves than in more "crunchy" systems.

I very much recommend that anyone who likes TRPGs at least take a look!
