Sometimes I wish I didn't have a real job but then I wouldn't be able to afford all these 90s synthesizers :(
In other news I've been having a particularly busy week but I've been making steady progress rebuilding various parts of my production workflow so I should be back to making MIDIs sooner or later

Here's another midi I wrote a couple years ago for a game, rendered on the SC-88 Pro! "invasion", an action piece. Quite fond of the time signature changes in this one.

Now have a working SC-88 Pro: here's one of my original MIDIs, "petra", which I originally wrote using SoundCanvas VA, playing on it.

Anyways while I'm here, here's a quick video upload of my favourite single MIDI release I've made (not including my full OSTs of course)

Melee Machine, fighting game music rendered on Roland SC-88 Pro simulated via Roland SoundCanvas VA.

I've also put up a blog post explaining the process of making these videos:

It's not that interesting since they're obvs just static images, but you might have a laugh at my herculean struggle against YouTube compression

Just put my small back-catalogue of single releases of free game music on YouTube!

Just cleaning up shop a bit before I get back to making new music.

POV: You tried to upload a video with a gradient in it to YouTube

It's 23.2 MiB for 4:17 of 4K video not bad. I could probably get it smaller with some ffmpeg magic but this'll do for speeding up uploading videos of static images to YouTube
Doing some absolutely cursed video encoding here.

Adding spread blur to vignettes is not my passion :(
Graphic design is my passion (actually could be worse)

Migrating everything to user my other name SpeedyVelcro instead because I can't stop changing my mind
(old one was SwiftVector for context)

Website should have a redirect up soon so old links hopefully shouldn't break.
