SPOILER ALER
Lastly, the reinterpretation of Erlkönig. In this case, Buntarou plays both the role of the father and the son.
His recent marriage and daughter represent the figure of the son, symbolizing what he could lose, while the climber Katou is portrayed as the father, who's drunk in excitement

SPOILER ALERT:
In many parts of the story, his self-isolation is depicted as losing his humanity and being seen as an outsider.

His affinity for mountains is supported by his condition as the lonely climber who lives for his own passion. This is developed back and forth as the series goes.

SPOILER ALERT:
The paneling and drawing really elevate the story as they excel at depicting the mental state of Mori Buntarou.
From how the fear and self doubt of climbing the K2 is portrayed to the terrifying depiction of the danger of vices and bad sexual temptations.

The drawing is outstanding and keeps improving throughout the chapters. The story is told from Mori Buntarou's point of view, except a few events that are not revisited later on the story.

The Climber
A seinen Manga which explores loneliness, social isolation, degeneration, vices, guilt, fear, self-realization and so on.
To be honest, the whole series explores a wide range of topics, each arc focusing on Mori and the people he meets throughout his life.

My view of the song was partially influenced by the story I'm currently reading, which offers its own interpretation.
I just looked it up and my own view wasn't so far-fetched.

PS: I'm excited about being able to catch a couple words in german from the song. Thanks to my 270 days streak of Duolingo

Franz Schubert: Erlkönig

Personally, I think the song tells a story of how illness and cold claims the son's life before the father reaches help. The Erlkönig might symbolize the extreme temperatures.

MiSide 100%

After replaying it, I can say that a second run doesn't add as much value as I thought aside from some funny easter eggs. The alternative endings feel more like gags than anything meaningful.

AIHASTO said they were adding a new mode for free soon tho.

MiSide (1st run)
A humor and horror game resembling Doki Doki, full of references to other videogames. The game explores themes of loneliness, impossible love and social isolation.

It's a funny game with a moderately interesting story and potential for replayability.

Spy x Family Code: White (2023)
In general the film is quite funny and full of action, yet it gives proper screen time to the whole cast of the series, resembling films like Shin Chan, but toning down the humor and improving action scenes.

The film also has a huge plot convenience at the end

Nier Automata (the videogame) (1st run)

Undoubtedly made to be replayed, so I won't talk much on the story. The fighting mechanics feel a little stiff as no matter how, the drone will be the main source of DPS.
The open world is very compact and small, making good use of its space in the story.

The story is told In media res, jumping back and forth and playing with the humor behind the protagonist's contradictions.

The montage is worth mentioning, offering striking transitions and playing with the rhythm to support both the story and create humor.

500 days of Summer
Film that realistically portrays love and complications in relationships, seeing how they can end due to different expectations and insecurities.
