I have decided to do a new series on my blog highlighting the differences in book to screen adaptations. I am starting with the Harry Potter series and then will move onto other books turned into movies from there. I just wanted to change up my format.

I don't like to speak too much about personal stuff on social media after I was hacked a few years ago, but 2025 has been a rough start. I have a lot to be thankful for as well, and I am working towards adjusting my goals and getting back on track.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is a brand new take on the character and I am absolutely here for it. This show is what we need. Refreshing takes on classic characters who have existed for so long. Keep the fundamentals the same and tell a unique story. This proves it is all possible.

Check out the new show Paradise if you have the chance. Sterling K. Brown is amazing and there is so much potential in this plot. Digging it so far. 2/3 premiere episodes down thus far. Watching the other later today.

A Real Pain was a solid movie where Keiran Culkin was able to shine in various moments. Ultimately, though, it never quite elevated beyond a few heavy moments where the characters experience the weight of history.

Watched No Good Deed and Carry On and also picked up 4.5 extra hours this weekend at work. It was massively successful in terms of doing fulfilling things with the family.

Skeleton Crew was everything I have been waiting for Star Wars to do for the last decade. Please keep this away from the main story. There is so much potential here for this to be so unique and special for the next generation of Star Wars fans.

Juror #2 is a fantastic movie. It really showcases the struggle to do what is right vs what the consequences may be to be completely honest. A very good and compelling story.

We Live In Time was not as emotionally resonating as I thought it would be. I really wanted more moments that made me feel deeper emotions and it never happened for me.

We were planning to attend an outdoor lights festival but the temperature is dropping quickly and everything turns to ice. Going to choose family safety over a family Holiday outing. Movies are the safer choice tonight.
