I told you which kernel does it the right way. If yours doesn't, update it. Or change to a better distro.

If a process is taking too much memory and it's not intentional, then this process has no place on your computer.
If it's intentional (like 7zip on Arch), then you adjust its settings. Simple. That was my experiment, actually - 7zip or what dictSize was needed not to exceed 50 GiB RAM.

Recently I made experiments with RAM. Modern kernels (6.x) automatically kill the process that's taking more memory than you have (without swap). At least on Arch with kernel 6.11 it works exactly like that, IDK about the generic kernels.

• 8GB RAM
• 16GB RAM
• 32GB RAM
• 64GB RAM
• 128GB RAM.

Once or twice. But it's limited to time of use + it asks for too much money/mo in order to use it fully.
I prefer another AI which is 100% free and unlimited to use, on top of that it can generate images, whenever I need one.

Anything that isn't Arch. I got so accustomed to Arch that now I feel... naked when the distro is something else. Which is the case with my laptop bc for unknown reasons Arch won't boot on it - only Ubuntu-based distros will. Go figure... 🤦‍♂️

It's not just NextCloud. Every singl cloud out there - Mega, 4shared, mediafire, yandex disk, google drive, one disk, etc, etc: they all are JS and as a result you can never reach any decent upload speeds. Or if you do, that stays only for a while, then stops working competely!
