As a sped teacher with her own children struggling with Math, I have definitely felt that there is not enough rote practice in basics that would make students successful with inquiry based learning.

When doing a “Harold and the Purple Crayon” read aloud, always be prepared to answer serious ?s about why Harold’s parents are allowing a baby to wander at night BY HIMSELF! It can be very upsetting to some 10 year olds with ASD.

PSA: Pea gravel is not ADA approved. It should not be used for parks and school playgrounds. It makes it difficult for wheelchairs, walkers, and those who are unsteady. Also is an excellent choking hazard.

My contract requires me to work min. 40/wk for 220 days. I make 3X less their base with my 3 degrees and 20 years in. Yet I am the problem.

The Administration for Children & Families (ACF) is an operating division of the DHHS. This includes Head Start.
This is next department that has been gutted. Regions 1, 2, 5, 9, and 10 are allegedly gone. The offices? Boston, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Seattle--all blue states.
