Admiral Gorshkov (departed Severodvinsk today) is a good candidate for either/both of the two upcoming White Sea area closures.

Arkhangelsk (underway since 11 November) is a good candidate for the upcoming Barents Sea area closure.

[1/7] U.S. Coast Guard spotted RF Navy Pacific Fleet Vishnya-class intelligence collection ship Kareliya (SSV-535) operating near Oahu, Hawaii, on 29 October.

Apparently, it took an end to the U.S. federal government shutdown for the report to be released.
November 14, 2025 at 5:28 PM
[7/7] Here's a comparison of timelines for Kareliya deployments near Hawaii in 2022-2023 and 2025-2026 with projected dates [in red] for future events.
November 14, 2025 at 4:37 PM
[6/7] If Kareliya is going to conduct a 120-day deployment this time, Pechenga will likely remain near Hawaii for a few weeks to ensure Kareliya has enough fuel and supplies to complete its operations and return to Vladivostok.
November 14, 2025 at 4:37 PM
[5/7] RF Navy Pacific Fleet Dubna-class oiler Pechenga departed the Vladivostok area on 28 October and is currently located about 1,700nm west of Oahu. At an average speed of advance of 12.5 knots, the oiler would arrive there in 5.5 days. [blue line]
