This is certainly part of it, but that will always be the case and there are other factors here. Big money comes out for people who believe that the rich should get richer and the poor should be happy about it or distracted. Why would oligarchs pay for anti-capitalist groups? DNC =/= left.

And that struggle needs to be both in material (mutual aid work, food and housing, etc.) but also a struggle of ideas and opinions. Blind adherence to a dogma or charismatic leader(s) isn't solidarity. It also doesn't get us out of our current trap of relinquishing control to elite representatives.
