A bit of an old one, but probably still my favorite example of sketch vs final piece

Finally completed my goal of taming and armoring every type of wolf in Minecraft (while my brother beats the game in every possible manner, lol!). It took 70+ wolves, but here’s a drawing of the nine species representatives.
Nine armored wolves in a row. The first is a large, tall wolf with black fur and black armor. The second is smaller and rounder, with dusky-brown fur, hazel eyes, and bronze armor. The third is a huge gray-and-white wolf with protruding fangs, ice-blue eyes, and dark silver armor. The fourth is a white wolf with blue-gray markings and silver armor that stands out against his orange eyes. The fifth is a brown wolf, facing the camera with alert amber eyes and wearing copper armor. The sixth is an old, pale gray wolf with green eyes and a crown built into his silver armor. The sixth is a small, wiry reddish-brown wolf with pale amber eyes and ruby-red armor. The fifth is spotted in black, white and ginger, with golden armor and green eyes. The sixth is a striped wolf with a mane down her back and pinkish-copper armor that matches her eyes. Each armor set is engraved with a symbol I made up for the breed, being in order an arrow-shaped pine tree, a heart, three claw marks, a snowflake, a four-leaf clover, a bone, an infinity sign, a fire, and a smile-like stripe.

Well, it’s not worth twenty-eight dollars, but here’s what I came up with in approximately four and a half minutes (as much as I’d love to make a full painting I am short on both time and motivation tonight)

Haven’t done a ton of stuff lately due to art block and being tired from school but here are a couple quick phone backgrounds I made recently(one for me, one for my dad)
A dragon in vibrant shades of purple, wings spread and face curling inward with its jaws open. The background is splattered in gray, black and white; the color scheme is meant to subtly emulate the bisexual and asexual flags. Set in a dark green forest, a brown bear wearing a battle helmet looks off to the side while a crow flies over its head. The sketch layer is still visible as it was a quickly-made piece, but it’s subtle under all the layers of dark forest shading. Leaves fall through the frame.

I read The Andromeda Strain and immediately saw the pun potential, so here’s a joke and a full art piece based on said joke because my ADHD said we weren’t done yet

Testing out some different designs for harpies, experimenting with making them more humanlike or birdlike in terms of anatomy. Leaning toward the more avian build but it depends on what type pf universe I decide to write them into.
Digital sketch with two harpy fullbodies - one is built like a human with the gray-feathered wings and legs of a bird, and the other is closer to the original mythology, mostly bird with the head and chest of a human as well as brown spotted feathers. There is also a drawing of a wing with a hand built in, combining the bone structure of human and avian forelimbs, and a painting of a harpy’s face, with feathers covering the upper half and a hooked beak at the end of the nose.
