Interesting though - the reported assassination attempts only appear in YouTube clips. I know a lot of people in Burkina (some pro, some contra), and none have mentioned any assassination attempts.

I'm 100% for countries across the Sahel throwing off the yoke of colonial France - but Traore's government hasn't done a thing to improve the situation. Security has degraded. Life is harder for the majority living from agriculture, and if they can't get to markets then the situation worsens.

This is exactly the type of wishy-washy "both sides are as bad as each other" analysis that makes a mockery of real analysis. In no reality are Die Linke and the AfD in any way equivalent. The AfD is an openly far-right, facist party with known extreme right activists in their ranks.

Here's why - in Germany the radical right murdered over 6 million people because of their religion, physical capacity, sexual orientation or political beliefs. And the AfD has openly said "this isn't something we should really be sorry for".

Are you saying Russia had no choice but to start killing Ukrainians and to occupy their territory.
