It’s been 14 years since I’ve been cancer free! But sadly, there are complications that come with surviving! So my hands will never be “normal,” but I’m a full time mosaic artist now! So I’m sure you’ll be able to continue your work and find your new normal!!

Also you can do some at home therapy with using your dominate had over and over. Frustration is the hardest part. Also I would suggest massaging the scar tissue too.

Only in time will things settle. But it can get better!

You might also look into needling (something I haven’t done but a lot of people enjoy), steroid shots (got that in my chest for my keloid and ow!! But it’s so much better), cupping (not sure about the hand).

But also, don’t do these treatments just yet while the scar is still healing.

Those things are nasty little guys because the scar is never really healed and stays agitated for years.

What worked best for me is finding a chiropractor or a doctor that works with nerves. Since I regularly go to a chiro, my feet have healed but my hands need maintenance once a week.

I’ve had nerve damage in my hands and feet from chemotherapy. The first three years really hurt me every day. I could hardly pick up anything, hold a pencil, but I knew I could still feel. The disconnect is hard!

If your scar is thickening and it hurts, it may be turning into a keloid scar.

Multiple it and give it to the next person 🤣

Well… has your spider-man powers kicked in yet??

All of my nieces and nephews were giant babies to the point I saw average sized babies and wondered why they were so small. 🤣

Everyone’s pain tolerance on certain parts vary. Some people find the back of the leg fine, I hate it. Some people find the shin torture, the shin is one of the easiest places for me.

But you sat like a rock for 5 hours!! Hopefully you had some yummy snacks and drinks during and after!!

Yay!!! I remember you were scared of the pain. How did it feel?

I get vertigo/ear issues a lot! My doctor said that if my ears start to feel off, to put a small amount of Hydrocortisone cream with a q-tip in the canal (not too deep). It has helped a lot with my vertigo and ear aches. Maybe that may help?

It might be? 🤔 But via Patreon you can also have the option to “choose” amount” which allows people to pay more than the minimum. For instance, my friend on Patreon only charges $10 bucks, I give them $20 a month UwU

$15 I think is a fair amount! And you can always add a “tip for Coffee” for those who would want to spend a little more.

At the end of the day, you know yourself best. But I think you have some good signs that you could tolerate a tattoo. Plus, if the artist is super chill, they’ll have tips and techniques to make it hurt the least amount possible.

Hurt! Those are still a good indication of tolerating the needle! I started off with three little dots on my hand, then a pinky ring and then to a bigger image.

Honestly, the worst part about tattooing for me is the white ink 💀 because when it’s time for highlights your skin has settled.

For me, seeing the pretty picture in action and having a tattoo artist who will laugh with you makes it easier. I was really nervous when I went for a touch up on my leg tattoo while on my period, but it ended up canceling each other out? But also you got a small tattoo on the wrist and it didn’t
