Jeer was 13, his sister Ayen 9, when the black gryphon slayed the rest of their family. For years they tracked it, hunted it, and finally cornered it in a ravine, but it charged at them, hurling Ayen into the air, and slashing Jeer's face with it's talons. The beast escaped. Ayen didn't. #pixelart

I've decided to revive a #gamedev project that I put to the side a while back because life got in the way and I was focused on other things. It's ambitious, but I've learned a lot since I was working on it last, and I think I'm crazy enough to pull it off.

Why do they make cold medicine in those packages where you have to peel the paper off the back to get to the pills? I'm sick, I ain't got the manual dexterity for this.

I made myself some oatmeal for breakfast today. I think I've been avoiding my normal morning routine because it feels empty without Emi. She used to always rub against my feet or jump up on the counter while I was making breakfast. I miss those little moments.

Yesterday I wanted to buy some shoes for my husband. To find his size I printed a shoe sizer. While looking for tape to attach the two pages, I found some pins I forgot I bought off Amazon. I put some of them on my jacket. I still need to buy those shoes.
