I was in the same spot, so I dived into the creator's responses to others. They say to go to your BlueSky settings, where there's an option to create an "app password", which isn't the same as your user password. Here's the post about it!

In BlueSky, Settings -> App Password allows you to create a password just for this app and you can use it and delete the password to revoke access
