I think the term Friend fundamentally refers to feeling of non-romantic intimacy common to religious experience. Other religions have arrived at the same terminology independently-- such as the sufis who are called "friends of God" and who call God "the Friend."

What are you going to do? At what point do you believe drastic action is needed? They are testing the bounds of law with their evil. It is time you test the bounds of law with your righteousness. There is no other way to build a strong opposition.
