Yesterday was a beautiful day with Assemblymember Carrie Woerner at the Saratoga Polo School. I had the opportunity to take a polo lesson, learn about the doors Great Strides Equestrian Foundation opens for young people in equestrian sports and see some of the great student athletes play a chucker!

Today alongside Assemblymember Romero, I visited the Frank Chapman Memorial Institute, announcing a $1.25 million grant to renovate and update the facility, ensuring it continues its great work across the community. We also toured Swinburne Park, a green space and playground frequented by families.

Today on my #NYStateTour we visited Port Jefferson Long Island with Assemblywoman Kassay. While there we visited the village Firehouse as well as a local animal shelter.

Today brought me to Rockland County with Assemblyman Patrick Carroll where we announced over $2.1 million in funding for projects at the Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry Landing, Haverstraw Fire Department, Westhab Affordable Housing, and The Haverstraw Center in Rockland County.

Today, I visited Huntington, LI, with @stevestern.bsky.social, stopping at their local Y, the home of NYS swim Champions The Huntington Y Bluefish.

It was an honor to meet the young swim stars and invest state dollars in this facility that will nurture future generations.

The Plattsburgh YMCA is such a vital resource for families in the north county. I’’m happy to be back with Assemblymember Billy Jones to announce
$4.5 million that will help them complete the pool at the future site of the YMCA and continue to provide great services for kids and for families.
