Such a fun day of mending with Stitch Buffalo volunteers and members of the Refugee Women’s Workshop from Burma, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Congo. We had over 50 guests stop in for repairs!

Volunteer party at Stitch Buffalo. We hired women from the Refugee Women’s Workshop as our caterers—so we had foods from Bhutan, Pakistan, Egypt, and Somalia. We also made crafts with upcycled supplies. So great to be in community with kind, open people.
