And if the Lib in this riding is really unlikely to be elected?

So many reasons. Many of the candidates are questionable, the leader is not open or honest, there’s no costed platform, the ties to the Trump regime are obvious.

It feels like a good time to remember this - from Timothy Snyder's book 'On Tyranny'. If groups stand together, supporting the ethics that guide them professionally and personally, it is harder for the state to commit atrocities.

I've been reading Timothy Snyder's 'On Tyranny'. His second recommendation is that we choose an institution to defend, something we care about, such as a library, labour union, parks board, court or newspaper. That fascist regimes typically attack institutions in order to build wealth for the elite.

Today's inspo:
"What's the purpose of a man,
Just to turn his eyes away?
Just to throw up both his hands?
What's the use of his backbone,
If he never stands upright?
If he turns his back on everyone
That he could've stood beside?"
