Between practices last night, some of the choir went carol singing in #Bournemouth town centre. And it was lovely. People seemed very pleased to hear some traditional carols amongst the noise and cheer of the Christmas market.

One of the specific challenges of running a voluntary trebles' choir is that the line-up can change quite often as choristers join, progress, and leave. This means that the seating plan has to be re-thought from time to time. 1/5

Our senior choristers are at Portsmouth Cathedral taking part in Gabrieli Roar concert tonight. Afternoon rehearsals in progress under the baton of the inspirational Paul McCreesh. Energetic Christmas music in the West Gallery tradition with period instruments 🌟

Tomorrow's music at St. Peter's for the Feast of Christ the King. The services will be led by our new priest-in-charge, Nick Jepson-Biddle.

Next week, we enter the new church year on Advent Sunday, including our Advent Carol Service of Darkness to Light at 4.00pm.

It was our privilege and joy to sing for the Licensing of our new Priest-in-Charge, Nick Jepson-Biddle, on Thursday evening.
The introit was written by David Price for the occasion, and we were joined by a brass ensemble to sing Stanford's Te Deum in B flat as the anthem.
