Dumb idea. Opens car companies to more litigation about unsafe vehicles. Serious Plaintiffs will fund their own crash tests with large groups of victims. The government sets the standard now and that's a bit of a defense for automakers.

Agree. The political law of gravity still applies to Trump. Incompetent appointees bring down political leaders in time. MAGA nation can not change the laws of gravity. In time MAGA will crash and burn🔥 because of ignorance and incompetence.

What they really hope to accomplish is changing the rules about disobeying and unlawful order. The Trump people fear the US Military and its possible check on MAGA fever dreams.

Why does Trump need tens of millions of dollars for his swearing in ceremony? That is a better place for the NYT to begin its quest for the truth. That takes to why Tech Bros need to give away money to a criminal.

Interesting observation. Perhaps the view of white intellectuals is not well informed by our history of counting black people as fractions of a person? I suspect there is no intentional effort by this author to diminish black people. uncivilized behavior involving guns has been around a long time.

When the doors of the courthouse in America are closed to ordinary people to resolve their disputes, then citizens will look elsewhere to see redress. Unfortunately, in a nation armed to the teeth, violence is an easy alternative. Teaching non-violence must include civil society alternatives.

Republican leaders might free a few senators facing re-election to reject Trump's crazy making. After 2 years of the Trump clown show, there will be lots to sink incumbents. The voters will think incumbents suck. With Trump's crazy there is not enough space for a Senator to make a mark.

Time for an age limit on all leadership positions. Dem Senate leadership is awful communicating to the public. They look and sound lost in arcane rules of procedure. Amy Klobachar can't stop talking about herself long enough to be effective for us! So cruising for another bruising.

That's such a huge amount of money. I'm too old or dumb to sort out why folks spend so much to change their attitude or altitude. I'm happy we don't criminalized pot anymore. The effort to suppress its use was always misguided. But what the heck do I know.
