I think seeing them on the Truth & Reconciliation would make sense, but I don't think the Elites would have allowed them to step foot on Alpha Halo itself. Would be cool to have more variety in Flood forms though.

I never read New Blood (I've been spoiled enough though) but Bad Blood seems to be more of a Halo 5 continuation than a New Blood continuation. They make plenty of references to New Blood, but the main story is more focused on the Created uprising.
