I watched Tron Ares. it's more competent than Legacy in terms of story and pacing, even if it still loses itself quite a bit by the end of it. The direction of the scenes is framed quite well, though the original is still unreachable as this one still feels "by the numbers" in the end. Banger ost.

I watched Hyper Agent Gridman. A simple, light-hearted tokusatsu series, inspired by the fears of computer technologies in the 90's. Very child-focused, but full of heart, especially with its message about hope and fixing people's hearts. Banger opening too and still one of my fave toku designs.

quick Mario Galaxy movie trailer impressions: the comedy bit was bad imho, not a fan of Bowser Jr's voice, Rosalina's voice is very good on the other hand. Very pretty visuals of course. Hoping they have a bit more of a plot this time around.

I watched Tron Legacy. Pretty cool visuals and good soundtrack, but not much else. The movie starts off well, but all of its potential feels wasted as pay-offs are rushed through or executed with no actual reason to them. Wasted potential given the themes and unique setting.
