Porro can be taken off that list. Hugely overrated, in my opinion. He’s ‘okay’. He can cross. Sometimes. He cannot defend. No big teams would want him.

Yeah, I’m no Ange Stan, I just think there was some semblance of what we were about under Ange. But it didn’t last. Agreed. There’s nothing now. I don’t know what this Frank team is.

I think the bigger issue is we don’t have that great a squad. Certainly with injuries. Ange was a great speaker but not a great difference maker in the league (we were shit then too).

Every time? I mean, the point of a Palhinha is games against big clubs where we want to disrupt their flow and break. Great v Man City and PSG. Bentancur is maybe a better choice at the base when we have to play a bit more. But only in theory. He doesn’t really do much these days.

I’m in the ‘pragmatism and results’ gang at this stage. We just need to get some ‘results’, then we can work on style… and frankly the season before last we were dreadful there. And last season was such a depressing capitulation. I’m happy with this version of Spurs, at this point.

Haven’t watched any, but a mate’s a Rangers fan and was so excited to be getting Moore on loan. He’s now of the view he’s not ready and should go back to Spurs. 😬
