There's no scenario in which they can crush the schools and maintain dominance; they are a package deal. They decided they valued crushing the schools more than the dominance. It's drained pool politics yet again

programs to the state legislature, which was gerrymandered up until last year. This is going to keep happening so long as they have even a one-seat majority in just one of the legislative chambers!

by 0.4%. You'd think that the Republicans in Waukesha would appreciate this after the goodwill Milwaukee showed them, right?

Nope! In order to get that sales tax increase (which they needed to keep from going into debt), the had to surrender sovereignty over their police department and diversity

Best example is that the beating heart of fascist WI, Waukesha, fucked up their own water supply and has to rely on Milwaukee's instead. This has put stress on the city's system, and parts of it need to be replaced. In order to fund this, among other things, the city wanted to increase the sales tax

And they'll try it no matter how blue your state is. WI isn't as bad as MO, but this is how it's been here for the last 15 years, and we're only going to be able to stop it next year (if we're lucky!)

It's almost the same thing as the people that try to read politics into sports outcomes. The Cubs obviously lost because one of their players was friends with Charlie Kirk (please ignore Clayton Kershaw's politics)

I think you're overthinking it. He's mostly being fed AI slop by his advisors so he thinks he's more popular than ever.

Bush campaigned there*

2000, they only lifted the ban because Bush campaigned and they didn't want to it to create a media controversy. Not that the media would have treated it that way lol

Same year that over 40% of Alabamians voted against removing their interracial marriage ban from their state constitution!

He's also the main connection between the Christian nationalists (especially the Catholics) and the Tech Right
November 11, 2025 at 9:12 PM
I think the two are connected.

I'm guessing there were more willing to vote for it than this and they strategically picked the people to vote for it

I think they're more concerned about air travel before the holidays tbh

It's good that the president is in the best health that anyone has ever been or else he might suddenly have those powers

They envision a world in which Russia gets Europe, China gets Asia, the US gets the Western Hemisphere, and they fight over Africa's resources. Literally 1984!

The fundamental issue with American Evangelicals is that they fear Death instead of God.
