Today I replaced the hard drive from the laptop with a bigger one and build the Lego Gameboy. That is such a great set. The Gameboy feels so good with all the buttons and stuff which have great haptic responses. Also the battery in the Zelda cartridge is a nice touch. 😄 #Lego

My mini made 2nd place in our little local paint group contest! 😄 It was discussed if I would be disqualified as my base could be seen as a diorama. 🤣 We had a lot of fun and everyone‘s submissions were great. We will do another contest next year. #miniaturePainting #Nerdlings

I haven’t shared the progress on the tree base. I added some“flying“ Leaves, which still need to get the glow painted onto. And I dabbled more with the OSL on the ground. Hopefully the effect comes off right. 😅 Still need to finish the sparrow warrior until Sunday. #miniaturePainting

I bought Dispatch and played it. Now I can’t wait until next week for the next two Episodes! 😄 It’s a great game (well more of an interactive series) with cool characters and interactions. Also choices. I will have to do more playthroughs. If you love story-driven games, like the Telltale

More progress on the tree base. For visualization I sprayed some OSL lighting on the base. After painting the mushrooms and plants, I applied static grass and flocking for leaves to the tree. #MiniaturePainting #Nerdlings #TerrainBuilding #paintingminis

I tried making my own leaves for the tree. Using coffee filter and spraying it with inks. Then using a leaf punch on them. The leaves look fine. But the punch doesn’t work very smoothly and I need a lot more for a tree that size. So I probably will use some flock for it. #Nerdlings

Work on the tree base was done. I did cover the wires with wood paste. But it was a bit stale so I added some basing paste. I also resin printed some shrooms and flora. Added it to the tree and base. Really works well on it. 😊 #3dPrinting #miniaturepainting #Nerdlings #TerrainBuilding

I made like a tree… but didn’t leaf yet. 🤣 The sparrow warrior will need a base. So I build one. Now I am contemplating what to use for dressing the wire. Should I use some plaster? Milliput? Or texture paste? It should look like tree bark afterwards. #MiniaturePainting #Nerdlings

I loved the concept of Game Envy‘s Lucent lights. But was bummed that they are only sold in the US. I ordered two directly from them. They were quite fast delivered. Not even a week. Even with buying an EU-power supply, they came in at roughly 80€ a piece (price is 85$ or 165$ for 2).
