I agree, definitely a stay in day 👍☃️ Don’t think it will last but quite heavy at the moment.

Oh wow, this is brilliant. Thanks for sharing. I remember my eldest daughter getting help with her costume from a born and bred Newhavener who lived in the same stair as us, as I didn’t have a clue or any idea about which way the shawl fitted. 🙈😂

We used to live in Newhaven when our children were small and they attended the local primary. Every gala, the children would dress up as fishwives and fisher laddies, it was a lovely tradition. The gala stopped for a while in the late 1990s but I believe it's been back up and running again.
