Nothing on tv tonight so might have to give Indy another go. I've tried to like it for years but even with the UK commentary during the endless US ad breaks, I find the coverage pretty dreadful. The racing is OK but I find the constant commercial interruptions really spoil it.

Sad news today about Eddie Jordan. One of the true heroes of the F1 world. Jordan Grand Prix always had a soft spot in our hearts and everyone seemed happy when they did well.

Soft spot here for Isack Hadjar. Have enjoyed his radio comms during his junior career and looking forward to this continuing in F1. The lad did good today!

Great news about the most chilled, wholesome guy on the grid, Mr Piastri. Is he a no 2 driver? More just a work in progress I think... If McLaren continue to provide a good car, he'll deliver reliable results.

One of the drivers I most want to see shine this season is #EstebanOcon. I like the guy. Not sure the Haas is quite at the party yet though. He's had a rough ride reputationally. And underrated. Estie Bestie needs a good run this year.

Some days it's good to crawl outside of the echo chamber & comfort zone to browse some art. I've followed @hippychick.bsky.social on X for a while & delighted to see her here. Followers get to see all manner of art, some I like, some I can leave but it's a mindful few moments away from the bin fire!

Watched parts 1 & 2 of Drive to Survive last night & found myself scrolling on my phone halfway through part 2. I loved it in previous years but has the bubble now burst? I guess the target demographic is young ones & not ageing diehards! I'll persevere to build up excitement for the new season...
