That would be great but the government has piled on Student debt on them. A private firm is getting very rich on the high interest they have to pay. They are living up to the high standards needed for their vocation, by doing long shifts, few comfort breaks, under staffed and overworked.

Privatisation of waste collection & recycling means only certain things can be taken away. Even collection by council is expensive. Private companies agree to take stuff at eye watering prices. Some dispose off properly, others take it from one place & dump somewhere else. Anything in UK not broken?

They haven’t good waste management systems in place. They have created a culture of consumerism to move the economy. People need space to get rid of old to buy new but no way to dispose or recycle easily. Even Charities want designer stuff only. No easy way to dispose off larger items.

We have been using it longer because of the nomadic life style of the Romanies.

I have not renewed my license for nearly 3 years now. We shouldn’t pay to watch biased coverage by the journalists. Do miss Channel 4 news though.

Many people are avoiding it because of the cost involved if they are under a certain age. It is not provided by the NHS. This year in many trusts hospital workers were also not given the COVID vaccine. If they wanted it they had to get it done privately.
