i think the interesting thing is that using mongo atlas made it easier to set up a project (i usually set up the mongo atlas stuff within 5 mins), but now that we have platforms like supabase which use postgres, it'd be easier to switch

i think the only reason i still use mongo is for simplicity, but i guess it might be better to use postgres or sqlite (i already use sqlite for smaller projects) since we now have ORMs like prisma and drizzle
