Years back I worked for a company called likewize that was formally a SoftBank company. Whilst I was there likewize bought itself from SoftBank to no longer be associated with them. I feel that speaks volumes

They didn't even try to alter the trump messaging. Straight in with DEI hires are killing patients.

Just me that thought that was a toaster on the side of the bath?

Our dogs have never lived in a house with a doorbell, yet if one goes off on the TV they'll loose it and run to the front door anyway

What I feel this also doesn't cover is would you say to someone in a deep red state that had an insurmountable swing that them not voting is the issue? FPTP systems habe this effect of disenfranchisement on electorates

I partially disagree, voter apathy is a challenge for democracy the world over. If after a campaign you're left feeling I don't want either candidate that is a failure of the candidates not the voter.

That said, if you chose not to vote, you don't get to complain at the outcomes

How can it be a terrible dem campaign and still be the voters fault?

I did this with the Brexit vote initially, blaming the leave voters for being too stupid to understand the lies.

Then you see they were conned and that it's the conmen who are at fault, and the poor attempt to combat them

Between biden/Harris and their strategy teams. They knew what they would be up against fighting the populist messaging from trump and they failed to prepare and then failed on delivery. In the UK we did this with Brexit, the right offering simple answers and a left that couldn't message
January 16, 2025 at 8:37 AM
So why are you letting the Dems leadership off the hook so easily? They had 1 job, to get elected and they failed and it's not their fault? Have a good one chief, I hope you in the fullness of time you understand you were failed
January 16, 2025 at 8:25 AM
If it helps you cope fill your boots. There's accountability from the Dems leadership that the need to reckon with and until that happens nothing will change. Blaming voters for not voting right is infantile
January 16, 2025 at 7:46 AM
No you're right you shouldn't. But not everyone is familiar with a definition of fascism. Nor what it looks/sounds like, people who are then convinced that it's just hyperbole from the left. You can't assume to be elected because you're not the other guy
January 16, 2025 at 7:44 AM
I see your point but I still disagree. For the less politically engaged looking at 2 candidates and saying I don't like either so choosing not to participate. Bannon had a plan to mobilise none voters in young white men. Your argument would hold if election day was a public holiday

After, but before VW put a W12 in a golf

Is it not the fault of the politician who didn't inspire those people to vote?

Ha! I tried SHART thinking it would be a good screen shot when it says it's not a word. It is a word and I lost a guess being a child
