Retire or better yet BE REMOVED. Their dissent means that they CLEARLY no longer believe in the US Constitution. I find their dissent utterly blasphemous and treasonous. There is just literally no excuse. What possible “interpretation” of the Constitution could support a dissent of this nature?

And to assume that it’s some broken brand and not the fact that most Americans have shown themselves to be shitty human beings. I don’t think “Democratic messaging” could have changed that. Kamala was awesome. People knew what Trump stood for. Americans chose Trump. Conclusion = we suck.

We are the few who pay attention, so it seems stark and obvious to us. But the masses have no idea what’s happening.

Also, I think it depends where you are. Those of us who are Democrats in red states could say the same thing. Here in Indiana, there are constant statements and actions that let Dems know that we have no voice whatsoever and that we really don’t have a right to even exist.

I thought Marco Rubio would behave more like an establishment Republican as well. Of all of Trump’s nominees Rubio was one of the saner picks.

All 50 states currently require some form of government/civics class for graduation. As a teacher, I would gently remind people that just because we teach it does not mean that it leads to learning and/or complete proficiency on the topic.
