We need local centres 24/7 with a doctor on duty . With xray facilities & 24 hr pharmacy .
That should be the triage for sending or not to A&E .

I’m afraid that unless you’re bleeding out or have stopped breathing , you aren’t triaged as Red . I was Acuity 4 which should have had a more rapid response but there was nobody to hand me over to . Majors was rammed ☹️

I’m afraid that unless you’re bleeding out or have stopped breathing , you aren’t triaged as Red . I was Acuity 4 which should have had a more rapid response but there was nobody to hand me over to . Majors was rammed ☹️

I was blue lighted to A&E with a temp of 40 . Query sepsis.
I sat in the main A&E waiting room for 5 hours . I was swabbed & diagnosed with influenza A, sent home with anti-virals .
I imagine I infected quite a few people that night ☹️
