And they are still saying global warming is a hoax... honestly, I don't know what it will take.

And of course we're getting rid of several library services, so if we wanted to go back to the old style of looking up your academic journals at the local library, you're still screwed.

My theory back in Chicago was that when you have to drive, you get to have a little metal box to keep you separate. But in Chicago, you're in a metal tube with people you don't know, so it's good to just be friendly.

When I lived in Chicago, I knew my neighbors. I would tell stories about my life. Community was easy. Rent wasn't, but now that I live in a driving town, I know so fewer people.

Whatever you eat and drink, put a little bit of something capcaisin in. I prefer Sriracha powder, but whatever tou can handle when you're well will do on a small dose. Then buckle down for the phlegm to come rushing out.

I think this one is also idolotry, as well. I'm not Christian, but was raised in the faith. These kinds of things would definitely bring ire.

Oh god, this one must be a trip and a half to write. But it's gonna feel so good to read. I'm excited for this storyline!

Many amenities we have today are because they originated for the use of the disabled. More importantly, disability is also a natural part of life. As we age, we lose capabilities. More than 50% of the aged lose either their sight or hearing long before they pass.

I'm not crying, you're crying! I just allergies... and this room is poorly lit...that's why everything looks so underwater.

There is no way any state agency will be able to complete such a large influx of new applications timely. Also, we already have everyone reapply annually. It's called redetermination.

As a cis gay male (or cis enough) we usually go with whoever is least tired at any given moment. Failing that, it's whoever just got up to do a completely different thing.

Well there goes any autistic workers. Or shoppers too... I am not a fan of eye contact.

You really do got this Mae. I've always enjoyed your work. But the primary voice is you! Your thoughts, your feelings. You have the authority on when and how we get to see that. So always take care of yourself first and foremost.

Welcome back to the comics scene! We have always missed but those of us who've read you for the long haul know you'll be back. Always take whatever time you need to take care of yourself.

My mother, a very staunch Christian woman, befriended a Muslim man when she worked at a clothing store. He and she were very close friends. When he was praying and people wanted to see him, she would tell them, "my brother is praying, you will have to wait." His eulogy was the most beautiful for her

I guess what I'm getting at here... I live in a land where the social contract is tissue paper. It's always been tissue paper, but highly worshiped and revered. The protests tell you to you can breath around. Who will let you rest. And most important, who will carry your burdens.

Get a big enough school monitor, and they'll fold immediately, especially if that school monitor has a really good glare. I'd like to imagine we are Lancre. Small country village with a couple witches who make the whole thing work. In reality, we are crazy town. But weirdly democratic about it.

They want to watch, maybe judge a bit, but behind closed doors. Nobody asks what's going on in your bed, except to see if they can be invited. But people will pull your hair in a bar to try a get a rise out of you. Rights are stepped on in the same way the schoolyard bully does. Part 2/?

Oh or they could go back in time and get specifically the Yo Kids version of Carman.

I am reminded of the folklorist Joseph Campbell who once said that in all of folklore it is the individual who makes their own heaven and hell. The true moral lessons are the ones that make everyone's lives better.

My three favorite actors from that show were your husband, Nichelle Nicholes and Leonard Nemoy. Your husband in particular had a vim and vigor to his best scenes that made me run around the house pretending I was fencing as a kid.

It used to be very common knowledge in the welcoming scene that you queer all your characters to hell and back. Heck, that was how I started reading your stuff in the first place. (Your guest comic in Real Life was the first thing I read of yours.) How do people not realize this?
