Btw I very much so do not wish to get rid of capitalism if that is what you’re implying. At most maybe thousands of years from now when/if there is simply no need for money and we’re in a Star Trek like era of extreme abundance. But right now is far from that time.

And infrastructure is a simple solution that has been known for thousands of years. Investment in state owned and maintained infrastructure. If the owner of the infrastructure is the one collecting taxes it pays for itself or is easily subsidized by more profitable sections. Not if it’s privatized.

At the VERY least get rid of citizens united.

But until then they will surely block any and all attempts to get in the way of their interests. Including any plan to revitalize rural areas.

It’s not a plan that specifically focuses on rural or urban communities because the same thing is plaguing both. Corporate investors who have no interests but increasing their own wealth with no regard to those they employ. Once that is done then specific plans can be made for each unique situation.

It’s always easy to misrepresent things. And no copy of “my” manifesto are needed. The ideas for what to do to fix this situation are regularly debated online and in public by progressive candidates. Listen to some rallies or peruse some literature if you aren’t informed on these things.

Like making it so that they aren’t solely ran by investors who may or may not have any experience in that industry. I couldn’t tell you exactly what should be done with coal companies in specific.I’m not a lawmaker in charge of this with access to aids and tens of thousands of dollars or more spare.

I wasn’t specific yes. So you know, the vast majority of the time when anyone who isn’t a straight communist mentions taking on corporations they don’t mean completely get rid of private business or the classification of corporations. They intend to reform them so they are less prone to corruption.

How exactly do you think making people profit more and being more dedicated to the company they work for would do such drastic things?
April 20, 2025 at 3:32 AM
The owners of them who constantly cut wages and give themselves tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars payouts just for fun absolutely. Corporations should be owned by the workers who actually bring them the products they profit off of. Not just the people who tell others to organize it.

That’s a big reason why Trump was elected in 2016 to begin with. He pretended like he was against the “deep state” and the big detached elites in Washington of both sides. And then he proceeded to ramp up their ransacking and legal thievery to 10 just like many democrats (voters mostly) warned.
April 20, 2025 at 3:25 AM
The mainstream democrats don’t, but progressives do. The plan is to actually finally attempt to take down the corporations who have controlled nearly every single aspect of our government since the 60s-70s. End the ownership of billionaires over our livelihoods and fate. Divorce profit from wellness
