the average person here in canada, especially my area, often frowns upon such styles of animation and art. its even a common belief that animation should only be kids cartoons with colourful animal characters and shapes and stuff. not fighting, explosions, superpowers and stuff. it's a bummer 😔

it's bad in the way that my style isn't compatible with the north american animation industry, making it much much harder to find a job i can work comfortably with. however, it can be good in the sense it makes me quite unique for my area, and can *maybe* help me stand out if needed.
