like i think in a sense i view relationships more as a status symbol than something that would do me good. and thats ignoring how all my current insecurities would make for a terrible relationship. its just too early for me ig.

anyways yeah. i go through this entire reasoning whenever i think about other people in my life who are in happy relationships. i have to stop comparing myself to others. i think its school rotting my brain honestly

for the longest time in my life i’ve always struggled w the need to feel “wanted” because i always felt that whatever i did with myself would be directed towards “functioning” around others and fitting in. but in doing that i always neglected myself and my wishes and what i liked.
