I live in Murrieta and drove down to SD soon after, and it was like driving through a moonscape. And then the fire in 2007 starting in Fallbrook and working its way down to Rancho Bernardo.

There was a cut and per someone I know with LAFD it affected budget for mechanics and equipment. He checked all sources and has not been called in to work on any of these fires. 🤔

Per a friend of my son who is with LAFD, there were cuts and they’re short mechanics and trucks. He hasn’t even been called in throughout the last two days, checking with all sources. 🤷♀️
