I have a friend or two who picked up one of these from the seller for a song years ago. Unfortunately, I seem to missed the song boat. This one has been on eBay for a long while, but somebody finally bid on it the other day so I had no other choice but to buy it. That’s what I’m telling myself.

Cleaned up my sister’s 1979 era Barbie Dream House and put it on the mantle. The wife plans to populate it. Need to figure out how to secure it as it’s relying on gravity and fulcrum math to stay put.

Got my Time Machine back from the shop and I’m trying to decide if I should use screws to mount the time circuits onto the dash panel or find a more gentle installation option.

Fully working! Tantalum capacitor replace fixed the 12V fuse blowing issue. New op amp chip fixed missing pew-pew shooting sound. New joystick stick and buttons and a little cleaning and she's back, baby.

Picked up a Taito Space Invaders cabaret last Sunday for $400. Linear supply is blowing the 12V fuse. Bought a switcher adapter from ArcadeShop to replace it. #SOON

Grabbed a working Golden Tee 3D for $250 this weekend. It's in a Dynamo HS-1 cabinet and begging to be converted into a better cheesy 1980s JAMMA game. I'm thinking maybe Final Fight.

Accidentally slammed my forehead into my KnightRider aluminum hood this morning. Just wanted to check battery voltage (it was 12.6V DC) but now I have a fun dent / tiny laceration in my noggin.

Perplexed why this JROK Q*Bert board and ArcadeShop JAMMA to Taito adapter were not working until this evening when I realized both had major soldering problems. The vertical sync pin (left) and the ENTIRE fucking solder side on the adapter weren't soldered at all. Talk about sloppy workmanship.

Pulled my dead A/C blower motor and swapped it for an OEM motor I bought off Amazon. Total cost $300 including a fresh $10 run capacitor just in case. Injury sustained during repair? Knee scrape.

Added my first ever BetaMax tape to my modest Fotomat Drive-Thru Movies collection. Not sure who craved watching The Lavender Hill Mob back then but here we are.

Ran a neighborhood mile this morning and noticed a street light still illuminated. Thinking about changing my handle to HOA Runner. As far as running I'm hoping to start a streak.
