And not to diminish the work that was done on this thing in so far as the newly produced dub, the new sound mixes, etc. but all this is for the existing JP bluray transfers totally scrubbed of grain and some references and whatnot redrawn or erased or recolored...

Never having to think about this again is going to be so awesome, except for the part where it's going to be inextricably linked to how I feel about the franchise as a whole forever now, so that's cool.

This thing missed its release window by three years, the graphic design looks markedly worse than the first round of approvals to the point of honestly looking fairly bootlegged, has mulitple missing features that were promised Kickstarter goals, and had to send everyone FOUR replacement discs.

This whole things has been such a disaster. Sonymationrollstufzomi is a deeply evil company. Was the Kickstarter already kinda weirdly managed before the buyout? A little, yes, but you can tell the instant everyone got removed and progress turned into a standstill with no oversight or care.
