Here's my first #Simulation video in awhile, in this one two black holes with accretion disks orbit each other and eventually merge (the orbit being elliptical rather than the usually depicted circular inspiral). Of course along the way the accretion disks are rather disrupted.

Posted a new artwork to @artstationhq.bsky.social! I find it interesting how "soft" but also powerful this feels for some reason! Also feels like an interesting mix of subjects, with a #GasGiant #Exoplanet with rings around a binary #Star, all inside a #Nebula!

Posted a couple new artworks to ArtStation today! They are both of the same galaxy from different perspectives. Galaxies can look very different from different viewing angles!

I haven't posted much lately for a variety of reasons, some easily guessable.

If you'd like to take a break from the seriousness of it all, a reminder that I have a starter pack of wonderful space artists that I try to regularly update:)

Hello all! I'm long overdue for an introduction here, so this is my intro thread!

I'm Alex, a mid-20's guy from Texas. I'm absolutely obsessed with space, have been since I was a child. Perhaps it was fate. I have many interests, but in many, I've found some way to incorporate space somehow.
