Right, at this point just try SOMETHING. Sure, bench players and Dillingham haven't been consistent, but neither have any of the starters (except when they've been consistently bad). Switch it up a bit, move things around... Right now it feels very "I've tried nothing and I'm all out of ideas."

We miss him!

I think the answer from Knicks fans would be "yes and we're happy you left." Whole situation has big seeing your ex happy and with a better looking partner vibes.

Great article. Miss KAT - the heart of the team and an underappreciated glue guy who always night in and played hard.

We deserved for him and the Knicks to come back and kick our shit in. Also, Julius Randle is a Basketball Grinch who sucks the joy out of the game even when he is playing well.

Definitely - Lakers looked slow and tired but still felt like Wolves had more intensity on defense than most games. Plus always good to see Big Ru get some baskets... Another win or two and maybe the narrative / vibes around the team really start to turn!

People boo because expectations were high, the product and vibes suck, and games are expensive. Honestly tough to root for this team at the moment - reminds me of the vibe of Jimmy Butler's last season coupled with the awkwardness of Gobert's first season. New wolves, just like the old wolves.

Gross.

Only time it felt like it wasn't "I take my turn, you take your turn.". The game was painful to watch when he wasn't on the court. There will of course be rookie mistakes and bad stretches, but I'll take that over the product on the floor when he's on the bench.

Just as Scorcese, and Jesus, intended.

Top Secret is amazing - watched it first time on Comedy Central I think a million years ago and it was a hilarious fever dream. One of my favorite spoofs.

Stupid ivory-tower experts telling us not to drink gasoline!

Another great article Jon! Had these issues last season but feels like they've gotten worse with the trade. KAT had his issues, but if anything, he got in trouble when he was too hyped ("stray voltage" issues). Randle, in comparison, has issues bringing effort and energy, particularly on defense.

Would love more run for Dillingham and hopefully Conley being up and running, and not exhausted, late in the season. Frankly feels like only way to get more rookie play is for vets to be injured!

True - the sky isn't falling, it's just gross outside! Also, since I have your attention just wanted to tell you I love your work - number one reason I have an Athletic subscription.

I don't know what the right trade off is for cap space v. vibes, but last year was one of the most fun years to watch the Wolves, and this year that is very much so not the case. Appreciate why they made the move, but as a long-time fan it's a bummer to see such a regression...
