"I had the privilege of working with Jim Ward during the voice recording sessions for many Ratchet & Clank games. He would often arrive at the studio low-key, with a gentle presence — yet the moment we started recording, his energy transformed the room. His commanding delivery and expert comic timing frequently sent gales of laughter throughout the recording space. Jim was an incredible performer who gave 115% every session. He would often nail a line on the very first take — so perfectly that we’d exchange looks like, ‘That’s it.’ Jim was a pleasure to work with, and I’m deeply saddened by his passing. But I’m also profoundly grateful for the joy he brought to Insomniacs and to the millions of fans who love Captain Qwark. His talent, warmth, and humor will always stay with me."
