Had some exciting book post this week - author copies of the French, Estonian, & Swedish versions of Dark Island. Thank you to all the translators who’ve worked on these. The French version, Les Îles Muettes, is out next week (May 7th) and the Swedish and Estonian versions are out now 🇫🇷🇸🇪🇪🇪

I’ve been in a reading slump recently, but these 2 books by @chrislloydauthor.bsky.social pulled me out of it!! Paris Requiem and Banquet of Beggars are the 2nd and 3rd books in the Eddie Giral series and I had to read them back to back. Just superb! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very exciting thing happened today… I saw a translated copy of my book in the wild!!! 😱🤯😭 It’s an amazing feeling seeing your book in the world for the first time, and seeing a translated version felt even more emotional for some reason 🙌
