1st of all, I don't think it's hard to understand, nor is it a bad pattern

2nd, our job is to make things better for the next iteration, why would you intentionally push code you think is confusing?

I really do think some men in my field have a poison in their brain that tells them the way to build rapport with someone is to be a snob or lead with sarcastic jokes
