I personally think it balances out pretty nicely. If you're smart with money you can make it without too much effort. The job market is competitive, makes it a little tough to swap positions, but those positions raise wages to compete. Stuff moves fast, and there's a lot of ways to adapt

Expensive. You kinda make more money, so it offsets a little, but redo your budget and assume a 7-10% cost-to-income increase on pretty much everything. The people can be a bit entitled, you just need to ignore them and work hard to keep pace
