I expect my sketchbook drawings to be perfect, like my digital stuff (even though that's far from perfect too.) I'm trying to practice shape and line, and only drawing with ink, and it's fucking hard! And it takes a long time for me to kind of "let go" and have more fun.

Sharing sketchbook pages feels very vulnerable and scary because, well, I'm not good at drawing on paper, haha. I'm not used to using and fighting with materials anymore, either. These sketches are horrific, but I'm trying to let go of all the "perfectionist" shit that's come from digital drawing
